Drawing on the findings of the recent Education Endowment Fund ‘Improving Primary Science Report’ and evidence-based research this workshop will:
- explore the vocabulary demands of the primary science classroom
- share a range of strategies for vocabulary acquisition and retention
- how to create opportunities for repeated engagement and use over time
This session is most suitable for those teaching the 8 – 11 age range.
