About me
Rhiannon Phillips-Bianco has been a dedicated educator and leader in international schools since 2003, with extensive experience in Italy and the Netherlands. Trained as a teacher in the UK, she has taught both younger students (ages 7-11) and older students (ages 11-18) in Personal, Social, and Health Education.
Currently, Rhiannon is the Head of Wellbeing for Globeducate, a network encompassing over 60 schools worldwide. In this role, she is leading the development of a comprehensive wellbeing programme for students, staff, and parents, with a focus on fostering awareness, resilience, and support across the school community. The programme is based on the evidence-based PERMAH model from Positive Psychology. Notably, the wellbeing programme she led at the British School in The Netherlands was a finalist for the International School Awards in 2019.
In addition to her leadership role, Rhiannon continues to teach 3–18-year-olds part-time at Rome International School, where she remains actively involved in student education. Her commitment to wellbeing is also reflected in her writing and public speaking. She regularly contributes blogs on wellbeing to esteemed platforms such as TES, Oxford University Press, School Rubric, and International School Magazine.
Furthermore, Rhiannon has shared her insights and practical strategies at prominent conferences, including COBIS, Outstanding Schools, and ResearchEd, demonstrating her passion for advancing educational practices, supporting educators worldwide, and fostering collaborative relationships to drive meaningful change in education.
